InnovED Psych Solutions, LLC is a private School Psychology practice located in Southwest Florida, founded by Amy Clark, a Licensed School Psychologist with extensive experience as a school psychologist and leader in public education, psychoeducational assessment and evaluation, special education services, and autism intervention.
InnovED offers high-quality evaluations and consultations to assist clients and their families in navigating the complexities of learning, special education, work, and relationships for positive mental wellness and resiliency. InnovEd Psych Solutions delivers research-based, forward-thinking psychological evaluations that empower individuals and their families with real, actionable insight. Every service is grounded in the science of learning, neurodevelopment, neurodivergent affirming and best practices while embracing innovation that enhances clarity, accuracy, and collaboration for meaningful solutions.

We are here to create new pathways where outdated models no longer serve, always centering the dignity and unique needs of every learner. This is not about scaling a business for profit—it’s about scaling access, excellence, and integrity in psychological services across Southwest Florida. About the Founder
Amy L. Clark, Ed.S.

I grew up on Air Force bases, changing schools eight times before graduating high school. Being the new student so often taught me early what it feels like to navigate unfamiliar systems, find my place, and adapt quickly. That experience shaped not only my resilience, but also my deep empathy for kids and families trying to figure out where they belong.
Later, I became a mother to wonderfully unique, neurodivergent children—now grown adults. Our home was filled with laughter, curiosity, challenges, and advocacy. Like many parents, I found myself deep in the world of RTI, MTSS, 504 Plans, and IEP meetings—not just professionally, but personally. We faced the everyday realities of ADHD, autism, anxiety, dyslexia, and the beautiful complexity of LGBTQIA+ identities. These life experiences give me a parent’s heart and a practitioner’s lens.

I founded InnovED Psych Solutions to be the kind of support I once needed—honest, evidence-based, clear, and deeply human. Whether I’m evaluating a student, consulting with a family, or helping adults better understand themselves, my mission is the same: to empower people with information, options, and a partner to navigate what’s next. With me, you are accepted as you are. You are not alone.
I am curious by nature and drawn to solving problems—especially the ones that seem tangled or overwhelming. I specialize in comprehensive psychoeducational and developmental evaluations for autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, learning disabilities (including dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia), and twice exceptionality. I’m trained in a range of evidence-based approaches including RDI, STAR, TEACCH, PECS, and other social-communication and behavioral frameworks.
In addition to my 25+ years of experience as a school psychologist, autism consultant, special education director, and director of psychological services, I’m a proud advocate of making systems work better—for families, for educators, and most importantly, for kids.
Outside of my work, I love traveling, exploring history, laughing at great comedy, and spending time on the water swimming, boating, or shelling along the Florida coast. I’m happily married and find joy in connecting with others who are navigating similar paths.
